Motivation
The telecom market is a challenging and continuously changing sector. These changes bring complex and challenging problems along with them. Solving these issues is my primary motivation. In this I obtain satisfaction from the following activities:
·          Analysis of complex issues
·          Reduction of complexity by cutting the question back to the core
·          Creation of a concrete step-by-step plan
In these processes I am particularly in my element in environments where business objectives must be translated into concrete technical solutions.
 
Education
After my Electrical Engineering/Telecommunications course at the Technical University I started to study Technical Mathematics and Electrical Engineering at Delft University of Technology and the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne. I graduated in Lausanne in Information Theory with an assignment about face recognition in arbitrary images. In recent years, I have followed in-depth IT/Telecom and project management (Prince2) courses.
 
Background & experience
After my study, I started as a researcher/project manager at KPN research. In this I was mainly occupied with the introduction of xDSL networks and products within KPN Telecom. I was also able to be involved as transmission product manager within KPN Telecom with the translation of KPN Telecom business objectives into the necessary infrastructure.
 
Thereafter, I worked as a Business Consultant in different projects within the Iranian national telecommunications company in which the ambitious business objectives of the company had to be supported by professionalisation of technology, IT, processes and organization. From this there arose a commission to implement a CRM system to support the structuring process.
 
After this I worked as a functional analyst, test manager and project manager on the implementation, expansion and improvement of a wholesale provisioning and rating gateway between a mobile operator and the connected virtual operators. In this I also successfully led a migration to a new hardware platform.
