Motivation
Challenges motivate me. I feel myself particularly challenged in complex environments where real change/ innovation must occur. I develop real solutions which are both ambitious and realizable. Such developments in a complex environment motivate me to keep at it and to stay result-oriented.
I am someone who maintains an overview of the whole with much attention to detail. I am happy to be found in a position where I am responsible for results. I am glad to obtain the opportunity to give direction to the design and development of processes, organization and IT with a healthy interest in the underlying technical infrastructure.
 
Background & experience
I started as an employee for the conversion of the Basic Municipal Administration at Zevenaar Municipality. I then worked for several years for a placement company and was, among other things, responsible there as project manager for various network administration conversion programs in the Netherlands and Belgium.
Via the positions of functional designer and supervisor I developed into lead designer for the stock build-up, supply, service and maintenance process for telecom services. In this position I was finally responsible for the procurement of software development, testing, acceptance and SLA administration. Projects to which I made a significant contribution or was finally responsible for include:
·     ISDN
·     Number portability
·     Carrier Preselect
·     Access to copper connection network (MDF access and Line Sharing)
·     Voice over DSL
·     Migration of a large-scale business-critical application to a modern environment. This application has 1100 concurrent users and a size of more than 6500 function points.
·     Voice over IP for business market

Hobbies
My wife and children take first place in my free time. I also spend my time on golf (not nearly enough), music and collecting several things.
