Motivation
Within VDVL as a junior consultant, I contribute to translating business processes into functional IT designs for telecom. The telecom market attracts me, because it is a dynamic environment, where business and IT processes are closely linked together. Developments also follow after each other closely, so that you are obliged to think up innovative and pragmatic solutions. This provides interesting challenges in the IT field.
Education
After a university preparatory course (VWO) with science-oriented specialisms I followed a Bachelor’s in Communication Sciences at the University of Amsterdam. Following on from this Bachelor’s I started to concentrate more on the commercial side of communication and at the VU University I did a Master’s in Policy, Communication and Organization.
Background & experience
My social-commercial background helps me to create functional designs, because it ensures I have an eye for the underlying business processes and do not think purely from the IT viewpoint.
Specific expertise
I gain much knowledge about fulfillment processes in the OSS field from my assignments. Due to the role I fulfill at present, I come in contact with the many fields with which telecom is abundant. I have gathered much insight into the combination and integration of services such as VoIP and internet, and the network world.
