Motivation:
I am by nature a real problem solver. The more complex the puzzle, the greater is my motivation to solve it. Together with my love of technology and people, this means I feel more than excellently at home in ICT.
 
Education:
After having fulfilled my military service obligation, I studied in Utrecht, where I successfully completed the Physics lecturer course. I have been employed in ICT since 1996 and have completed many training courses in the field of Information Analysis, project management and specialist courses.
I have an excellent command of English and German.
 
Background & experience:
After working for three years as a physics teacher, I started with my other great passion: programming. After having programmed for eighteen months in Visual Basic (including at KPN) I started to give lessons in COBOL and VB. In 1998 I started my first task as project leader. From then on, the projects I have done have become bigger, more complex and more technical.
Besides my work as project manager I have also started to give courses in (project) management skills, which has resulted among other things in giving a guest lecture at the Technical University of Cluj (Romania).
 
Personal characteristics:
I am an intelligent project manager, skilled in communication. I do not shun consensus. I am glad to maintain an overview and not let myself be put off by fair words.
 
Hobbies
Making music in the band www.onewithoutglasses.com, acting (including as acting coach), reading, writing and photography.
