Motivations 

Implementation projects, CRM and IT architecture are the things that I find most interesting in my work. Implementing new systems or new functionality in a correct and future-proof manner. In particular, the complexity and subjectivity of the terms 'correct' and 'future-proof' and the differing views that exist within organizations about these terms interest me. Using the experience gained on a wide variety of projects and industries and applying those to the customer is great fun.

Training 

I studied Business Information Systems at the University of Amsterdam. I graduated with a specialty in Information Infrastructures in 1997.

Background & Experience 

In 1997 I started at Andersen Consulting (the name changed to Accenture in 1999) as a SAP developer / configurator. After two years I transferred to the CRM Service Line at Accenture and I was one of the first in the Netherlands to work on an implementation with the Siebel CRM package. In my six years in the CRM Service Line at Accenture, I have done several Siebel implementations for organizations like Univé, Robeco and Nuon. In 2006 I started as a freelance CRM Siebel consultant and then worked on Siebel CRM implementations for Multikabel (6 months), KPN (2.5 years) and the ANWB (6 months). After freelancing for three years I joined VDVL in 2009. VDVL gives me the opportunity to combine my knowledge and interest in CRM, IT and telecom architecture. The project role I typically work on range from technical project manager, developer and development lead to business analyst and IT architect. 

Matter Expertise 

I have over 12 years of experience with (Siebel) CRM implementations and the implementation of standard packages. I know what the success factors are for the implementations, know what can go wrong and how to prevent this.

For the last five years I have worked in the Telecom sector and I have gained knowledge in the fields of service processes, order processes, product modeling, billing and controlling.

Hobbies 

Most importantly my family, I try to make time available for tennis and in my spare time I play around with my computers, iPad, iPhone etc.  and I am a huge fan of online gaming.
