Motivation

A strong motivation is to get to know the Telecom sector in deep and to be of great value for the customer. Within the Telecom sector the innovation rate is high which makes it challenging to monitor all new developments. Moreover, future techniques are already on our doorstep and expectations of the customer are increasing. Because of these dynamics the Telecom sector is a challenging sector to work in and keeps me highly motivated. 

Personal growth is another factor that motivates me. As a consultant you have to be able to work with different groups of people which require high personal skills. This challenges me to further develop my personal skills. 

Education

I have received a Bachelor degree and a Masters degree, for which I both followed the program in Groningen. I have obtained a Bachelor degree in Engineering which had a practical focus. During this program I have performed three internships abroad. In the study program the focus was mainly on working with project teams on various cases. After the Bachelor program I obtained my Masters degree in Business Administration from the Rijksuniversiteit Groningen. I followed the specialization Business Development which focused on the strategy of new products and services. Next to theoretical knowledge I have strengthened my analytical skills during this study program. 

Background and experience

During both study programs I have gained knowledge on IT related projects. In the internship program I was projectmanager of the introduction of a barcoding system. A part of the project was the mapping of current and future processes and starting an RFQ traject. 

Expertise

During assignment and training programs I have gained practical knowledge in the field of Service Level Management and ITIL processes. Because of my recent graduation my further practical knowledge is limited. However, during the academy which was organized by VDVL I have gained knowledge in various aspects of the Telecom sector such as number portability, billing, provisioning and test management.
