Motivation
Innovation and improvements within organisations is what I’m passionate about. Besides innovation on technical aspects I find organisational learning and organisational renewal interesting challenges for all types of organisations in order to improve their efficiency of working.

The telecommunications industry is par excellence a branch in which a lot of innovation takes place. But, telecommunication also enables other organisations to serve their customers in other, new ways. Last but not least I find the role that telecommunications and Internet have in modern society very intriguing.

Education
I studied Business Logistics at the Hogeschool Drenthe. There I learned to work in project teams and to analyse organisations with an end-to-end view on the supply chain. Subsequently I studied Business Administration at the Rotterdam School of Management (Erasmus University). I broadened my base of knowledge there and I became increasingly interested in organisational dynamics. I graduated with a specialization degree in Change Management.

After university I completed several courses on process management and consultancy skills.

Background & Experience
In the last few years I have been active as a Consultant in the area of Business and IT Alignment. I have worked on several projects within one of the largest telecom providers in the Netherlands, often from beginning (analysis and design) till end (testing and implementation). At first my main focus was on Fulfillment/Provisioning, but gradually I became involved in Assurance and Service Management processes as well.

Specific Expertise
My expertise lies in the following areas:
* Change Management
* Organisational Learning and Knowledge Management
* Business Process Management
* The OFAB processes within eTOM, specifically Fulfillment
* Supporting IT in the role of OSS
* ITIL Service Management processes for IT and Infrastructures

Personal characteristics
I’m a person with strong communication skills, especially with regards to listening. I’m calm, reliable and good at using a helicopter view to maintain the overview of a situation. I can use my analytical skills to analyse complex matters from various perspectives. This enables me to not only understand complexity but also to translate the impact of the complexity to different areas of interest within the organisation.

I am a real team player and my drive is to gain and share both knowledge and experience. I’m pragmatic and I value delivering results with one another.

Hobbies
I’m a big sports enthusiast and love to watch different sports. Ice Hockey and Formula 1 however are my favourites. Besides watching sports I love to take a ride on my race bike.

Furthermore my interests are very diverse and range from economics to politics. I love to discover the world by travelling around the world.
