Motivation
Nowadays there are so many things around us, and so many more things remain to be discovered. All around us different things are being made easier and before we realize it, they are the most normal thing in the world. And I am a person who really would like to know how things work. Technology: it interests me. In the last few years, telecommunication has attracted my interest particularly. A world where many technologies are invented and combined. Because telecom has to renew itself constantly to stay in front of the competition, it is fantastic to be able make that step together again and again.
 
Education
I stared with an Electrical Engineering senior secondary vocational course (MBO) in Leiden. Great to make your own PCB and see the result. But I really wanted to think up things myself and so I continued to study. I studied Electrical Engineering at Rijswijk Technical University. A very broad course from the function of a capacitor to programming a website. Digital technology fascinated me in particular. I therefore opted for the specialization ‘Computers and Data Communication’.
 
Background & experience
I did my final year placement at a company which was responsible for building a large closed communication network. After my study I started to work there and was able to experience how many components, protocols and techniques are necessary to set up a single connection. Besides this, I was able to gain experience in a whole different ballgame, namely sales. An environment that taught me a lot with regard to speed, communication and negotiation.
 
Specific expertise
My knowledge is presently mostly in breadth. In this, my technical studies have ensured an excellent background and I have explicitly chosen to look at a different aspect to widen my knowledge further, namely sales. My strength is therefore now in both; working in a project context and drafting requirements and wishes and translating these into a product.

Hobbies
I enjoy spending my spare time at outdoor sport, or an evening with friends. I can also find much relaxation enjoying the combination of music and a bit of reading.
