Motivation
My ambition is to fathom things out and to obtain an overview of complex situations. I enjoy seeing an organized result. I like gathering knowledge and disseminating it again later.
With 13 years’ experience in telecom, the subject of billing does still not bore me for a moment. I feel most at home as a Business Analyst working with a jumble of details.
 
Personal characteristics
Diplomatic, patient and particularly reflective. I can put my analytical character to good use in my work.
Besides this I like to round off the work properly and supervise a design right through to realization.
 
Background and experience
I started as an Industrial Designer (Delft University of Technology) with emphasis on design and business administration. I have worked in the telecom and internet market in the CRM and billing field since 1995. Most work starts for me with a big change in business processes, product development or IT systems (billing). Because I am fundamentally an all-rounder, I have already been able to pick up many issues. I have described and implemented business processes for the back office. I have been operationally responsible for a billing and accounts receivables department, and I have also worked for many years as project manager. I have described the billing requirements for new services. And in the last few years specifically I have functionally analyzed and described complete CRM + billing system migrations, with the emphasis on how a new IT architecture should work and how a migration ought to happen. In detail – of course.
 
Hobbies

Lazing around at home. Thinking of weird and wonderful devices. Going to zoos.
