Motivation
I experience finding solutions to complex problems, which are then usable by different parties each with their own interest, to be very challenging in my work. The IT landscape within the Telecom sector is very varied and is thus a continuously interesting environment in which to apply improvements and new developments.

Background & experience

 
The senior secondary vocational course (MBO) Information technology laid the foundation for the field of expertise where I am now employed. During my higher professional education (HBO) course Communication & Multimedia Design (major) and Business IT (minor) I widened my IT knowledge by learning the communication and the elaboration of IT concepts.
My placements abroad gave me much international experience. I use this experience every day in my work because IT and Telecom are increasingly internationally oriented.
Since the beginning of my career in October 2007, I have worked at VDVL. During this time I have gained much experience in the field of Fulfilment within Telecom. My activities are mainly in the field of managing Physical Access and glass fiber in particular.
 
Specific expertise
The internal education I have enjoyed at VDVL has given me a basic insight into the many aspects of the telecom sector. At present I am broadening this knowledge in a number of spheres.
 
Personal characteristics
I would describe myself as a social and inquisitive employee. My strong points are in the area of analyses.
 
Hobbies
In my spare time I really enjoy a tour on my racing bike. I also find it great fun to enjoy time with friends and family and further I would still like to see a lot of the world.
